About Us
Our Team
Our amazing team of full-time and part-time volunteers are committed to helping offenders and those who suffer with addictions by providing housing, skills development, and creating job opportunities. We are Christian based designed to assist people from brokenness to wholeness. We are committed to making a difference in our community and reducing the prison recidivism rate by rehabilitation.
Our History
Still Standing was established October 2018. Our team started ministering the word of God at Sussex 1 state prison, where we experienced life changing moves of God in the hearts of inmates. By applying biblical Christian principles, inmates began to transform from brokenness to wholeness, this transformation led to restoration, and restoration led to FREEDOM! We are dedicated to breaking the chains and shackles that hold inmates in bondage spiritually, so they will be set free and ready to successfully transition from prison to society.
Our Mission
The vision of Still Standing is to combat prison recidivism by providing offenders and those who suffer with addictions with transitional housing and a range of holistic services designed to equip them with the skills they need to gain independence, and become productive members of society. We are committed to reaching those at-risk of returning to prison, and/or who lack the knowledge of making successful transition from prison to society. Still Standing Inc. is established exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of 501 c 3 of the Internal Revenue Code.
